       Like a tree that has no growing branch,
It hangs around, or stands quite still.
A foe of darkness, it holds its own,
From its arms gold light shall spill.

       Like a snake emerging from its cave,
Its piercing bite ends lives so brave.
The crux of issues resolved by wars,
Wading deep within the gore,
Tangy though its taste is death,
Its touch will still a drawing breath.
Its sound will ring like hade's bell,
A sight of doom; a carnage smell.

Across the water one was flown,
Or trapped for years in heartless stone.

As parents can and should;
But since I have no progeny,
You can turn me to your good.

Behold my jaws that never eat
And teeth that never chew.
When you turn, I'll turn without deceit
For I'll never turn on you.
